The kind people at Villa Maria whizzed me over a few cans of their iconic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, just in time for this fabulous grape's celebration day today! It therefore seemed churlish not to chill them immediately and pop one open, all in the name of 'research' of course...
Some might sniff at canned wine, but there's absolutely no need. The cans are specially designed to be completely inert, so the wine's unique tropical flavours and vibrant acidity are preserved. Portable, refreshing, fruity and ideal for travelling or events, these wines do exactly what they say on the tin. Don't be shy, get involved!
